Some techie stuff about the WebCam
1) Its up dated every three seconds
2) It uses a Connectix camera
3) Linux web sever exporting a PPM file that travels from the top of the chimney (3 floors up over looking Creek side) 150 feet of cat 5 cable.
4) The ppm file then goes into a NT4.0 box running IIs 4 where a batch file is running to convert the PPM into a JPEG
5) The JPEG file then over writes the old JPEG . Finally the web page is pointed to this Image.
6) The camara has a 83 degree wide angle lens on it with a polarizer filter. This makes the picture a little dark but stops the white outs on sunny day and gives a wide veiw.
6) Its housing in a Polycarbonate Ray Dome made by myself. Its been running for a year now from -30 cel to +20 cel.

In the picture on the far right is the new Gondola.
Upper center is the PetroCan Gas station.
Upper left is Sproat Mountain.
Lower left is Husky Gas station.
Center is the parking lot.
